This  vintage World War I recruitment poster known as the “Your Country Needs YOU” poster. This iconic poster features an illustration of Lord Kitchener, a prominent British military leader during World War I. In the image, Lord Kitchener points directly at the viewer with his right arm extended, conveying a sense of urgency and duty. His face is partially obscured by a gray block, adding to the poster’s impact. At the top, the bold title reads “London Opinion” in red, followed by the powerful call to action: “YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU.” Smaller text at the bottom provides publication information. This poster played a significant role in encouraging enlistment in the British Army during the war and has become an enduring symbol of patriotism and collective responsibility.
