Malcolm X. Born Malcolm Little in 1925, was an influential African American leader in the civil rights movement. His life was marked by adversity and resilience. In prison, he encountered the teachings of Elijah Muhammad, head of the Nation of Islam (Black Muslims). After release, he became the minister of Mosque No. 7 in Harlem, advocating self-defense. His legacy continues to shape the fight against racial injustice, inspiring the Black Power movement.
