Charles Robert Darwin


Charles Robert Darwin (1809–1882) was an English natural scientist who revolutionized our understanding of evolution. His voyage aboard the HMS Beagle from 1831 to 1836 provided crucial observations. In 1859, he published “On the Origin of Species,” introducing the theory of natural selection. Despite initial controversy, his work transformed scientific thought and continues to shape biology today.
